Zimkor

      Zimkor was established in 1975 by Bill Zimmerman. Bill set out a vision to service clients needing specialized metals work whom he had established relationships in his years carrying the torch with his brother George and lit by their father William Sr. His aim was to provide the best value for challenging work with an emphasis towards work involving complexity and welding skill. Bill also set the foundations of a culture that continues today; excellence, professionalism, integrity, hardworking and, most importantly, a true family environment. In 2003 the company saw the retirement and exit of Bill and the purchase of the company by a partnership of senior leadership. The name Zimkor was retained as it consistently identifies our well established culture of quality and reliability on job sites throughout the Rocky Mountain region.

 

      Today the company is led by Casey Brown, Paul Wareham and Randy Oakes; in addition to a full staff of professionals who bring creativity, diligence, reliability and professionalism daily to the tasks at hand. The company continues in the cultural values established decades ago; the longevity of our employees bears testament to the kind of place Zimkor is to work at as well as to work with. Zimkor continues to have the appetite for the most complex scopes of metal work but will also serve the simplest and smallest of structures as our clients need us to. Welding expertise continues to be a hallmark of our organization; many of our competitors have abandoned the production skill of welding in favor of projects targeting the use of automated production machinery and approaches.
